Any Skylander can use any vehicle but each Vehicle has a specific paired SuperCharger that SuperCharges the vehicle when they are used together, this changes the appearance of the vehicle and gives it a boost. The new lineup is made up of 20 new SuperChargers (that's 10 (or 12) completely new characters and 10 (or 8) reimagined returning characters) and matching 20 Vehicles.

The beginning provides a short backstory, telling the plot of Skylanders: SuperChargers: Kaos has unleashed an evil weapon, and Mags sends a distress signal across Skylands to assemble a special team called the SuperChargers to stop it.
